President, Paige McFarland
Paige and her husband have been married 18 wonderful years. They have 2 sons, one adopted through foster care and one biological. They were also foster parents for 6 years. She loves puzzles and spending time with her family. Their weekdays are busy with sport activities and on Sunday she loves spending time with her Lord and Savior!!
Vice President, Ellie Hartford
Ellie is a mom of three, two through open private adoption and one through her blended family. She works in the adoption field at Spirit of Faith Adoptions in Sylvania, OH. Adoption is so close to her heart and can’t wait to love on our Foster and Adoptive Mommas!
Monica Stuart, Secretary
Monica and her husband Nick have been married for twenty-five years and have six children. Three through the gift of birth, ages 23, 21 & 18 and three through the gift of adoption through foster care, ages 24, 14 & 10. They’ve been foster parents for fourteen years and lead a support group in their home for foster, adoptive and kinship caregivers. Monica enjoys reading, visiting local coffee shops and relaxing by the water. She also enjoys decorating their home for each season and hosting gatherings at their home. She currently home educates two of her children, cheers her kiddos on at their sports events, and is involved in her local church.
Jackie Sherwood, Executive Director
Jackie and her husband Roger of 24 years have three daughters and one granddaughter: Leyna (bio daughter) age 39, Logan (bio granddaughter) age 18, Ciara (adopted China 2009 at 2 1/2) age 16, and Charli, (adopted China 2013 at 4 1/2) age 14. They live on a farm in Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania along with their four ankle biter dogs, 15 cows, eight pigs, chickens and whatever else lives in the swamp. She’s not sure how this whole “adoption” thing happened, but it all started when she was anonymously mailed a calendar in 2006 at work with the cutest little Asian babies on it, and it’s been a roller coaster ride ever since. She loves helping families bring their children home through fundraising auctions, donating, etc. She is a court stenographer by day, and by night enjoys all things crafty, and loves to travel. She can’t wait to see what the future holds for STC and her family! Ciara has been promising for years she wants to have ten kids bio and adopted!!
