Seas the Connection is a community-based support organization based in Tampa Bay where ALL mothers of adoptive and foster children are welcome .We seek to serve fellow foster and adoptive moms by providing respite retreats in the Tampa Bay area and beyond!

Not only are we based in Florida, but we as women and moms recognize the healing power of the sea for both mental and emotional care. Seas The Connection was inspired by our original venue, Little Harbor Resort in Ruskin, Florida for its seaside atmosphere and resort amenities as we believe this type of location best meets our goal of providing foster and adoptive moms with the most relaxing and connecting weekend ever!

Seas the Connection was created with you in mind! No matter what you need to recharge and relax, you are welcome to here. There are no obligations for to be anywhere or do anything. We provide you with a relaxing atmosphere, fabulous keynote speaker, delicious food, mom connections and all the peace you could ask for!

Come join us for an unforgettable four days connecting with other foster and adoptive moms in Riverview, FL. Located directly in the Tampa Bay region on the Alafia River, our 2024 venue offers a private dock, private beach, putting green, plenty of parking, a life-sized chess set and a private swimming pool and hot tub.   We can’t wait for you to come and relax in our little piece of paradise!

Our 5th annual Florida retreat, Sea, Peace and Love 2023 was by far our most connecting and relaxing retreat yet! Located on the Alafia River, Riverbend Retreat was the perfect location for a peaceful mom’s getaway. So perfect in fact, that we are using the location again next year!

Riverbend Retreat offers six bedrooms, including three in the guest house, two kitchens, multiple living areas, a large outdoor area with a private doc and beach, putting green, life-sized chess board, private pool and hot tub and stunning river views!

In case of cancellation, your registration will become a tax-deductible donation to “A Mother’s Rest” , our 501c3 partner.

Includes registration fees and all meals and snacks from 7:00pm on the 26th to breakfast on the 29th.
