Angela Larson- Assistant Team Lead

Angela Larson has lived in Lynchburg, Virginia for 22 years. She is a mama
of three girls, 10, 14, and 17. Two are adopted through the local foster care system.
Everyone in her house, including her husband, is a first-born child and have ADHD.
It is fun and dramatic to raise these independent ladies! The two
younger girls both have autism, one high functioning and one nonverbal with intellectual disabilities. She spends her days doing a little bit of homeschool, a lot of appointments, figuring out meals, analyzing behaviors, and sometimes getting the dishes done .
She a bit of nerd, so her favorite hobbies are listening to great Bible speakers, Bible study, training in prayer ministry, and bouncing all her thoughts off any in-home therapist or helper that will listen. Around her house, you
can find a lot of half-finished craft projects just waiting for that perfect time to finish! Angela and her husband Thor are community group leaders for parents of kids with special needs and look for every opportunity they can to love on parents raising kids with some extra challenges. She is excited to extend that support and serve Mama’s in Myrtle Beach. Her first adoptive mom retreat was after a challenging phase of settling in her third daughter. It was the first moment she had to see the world around her again and meet other moms in this community. That is her prayer for you as well!
